They're hanging out in the trees a lot these days..
I've never noticed the vertebrae on their necks before..
I was talking to one of their keepers today and was sad to hear that Wicket will be leaving soon. As Wicket and Shama are reaching maturity and since they are brother and sister, they will be bringing in an appropriate mate for Shama and transferring Wicket to another zoo.
Also, the baby from the CRC unfortunately will not be coming to the National Zoo..
Sad.
