I've never gotten a good look at this guy before, and it turned out a bit funnier looking than I had thought..
It doesn't really like to be held.. It wriggles..

Today I went to the National Aquarium in Baltimore. It was pretty much the same ol, but it was my first time seeing their Australia exhibit (the rock expansion).
Yes, there are some birds at the aquarium.

Visited the Maryland Zoo again, this time not in like 95ยบ weather.
The arctic fox was a lot more friendly and active this time. Probably because it wasn't so hot.
I've never seen them just floating around before.
The chimps were being very vocal while we were there. The dominant male was obviously showing everyone else their place. Here the two chimps were grooming each other or something. Looked like they were kissing, it was cute.

It was a bit of a difficult choice between the Central Park Zoo and the Bronx Zoo, but in the end, I had to meet a friend in the city anyways.
The zoo is small, but I like it a lot. It's more like a garden than a zoo and it's got some interesting animals.
Here's a little guy building a nest inside the bird house.
Having a bit of a hard time climbing the rocks.
Looking fuzzy.
The little one was playing with a piece of plastic that had found its way into their house.
I love these snow monkeys, very entertaining people.

I visited the Philadelphia Zoo a couple of weeks ago. Maybe I was too excited about it, but it ended up being kind of anticlimactic. I thought it was more carnival than zoo.. There were too many snack and face painting vendors and too little attention on the animals' enclosures. In fact, here is an example:
Not a great picture, but this red panda looked like it was sick or something. It could barely open its eyes, was unsteady while climbing, and had kind of a thinning tail. We were a little concerned..
These two tigers were playing with each other in the pool. Not a clear picture since it was shot through the wet glass, but it was pretty interesting.
Hey, .. it's kind of poof.

The flamingos were making an awful racket after the rain today so I went to go see them. Noticed some little flamingo chicks.

Haven't updated in a while, so here are some fresh pictures from today.
Here was a duckling that got separated from its mommy. The mommy flew over the fence and the other two ducklings squeezed under the fence. This one was getting stuck.. Funny story though, I missed a pretty lols moment when the mommy duck attacked a woman for coming too close to one of the ducklings. Well, maybe next tiem..
Here's another baby, one of the baby rheas that hatched in April, trotting along with mommy.
The pygmy falcon isn't a baby, it's just pygmy..
Bath tiem!

Here's an emu and other bird, forgot what it's called..
Cute..? Hmm..
Cute, but not as cute as the pygmy falcons that I couldn't get a picture of due to camera issues..
